In Dubai, our most recent notable property transaction was being involved in the acquisition of a USD 90 million building, W2, in the downtown Dubai area. The building is directly opposite the Burj Dubai, within the Burj Dubai Residences area, it is one of the six buildings directly facing the tallest building in the world, our clients, acquired the building and about 8 months later sold the building for a profit of just over USD 15 million. These quick flips in property sector are our specialty due to the escalating costs in construction prices and land prices here in the U.A.E.

Another one of our recent news headlines was the recent acquisition of 16.2% with an option for an additional 10% of a NASD (OTC) traded company, Axial Vector Engine Corporation (AXVC). This transaction shows our commitment to diversification to areas other than just the property arena yet remaining conservative in terms of investment philosophy.
